6 Tips for growing hair!

I'm so sorry about not posting, but flu and hay fever took over my life and stopped me from doing anything except sleeping:(.

So i got requested to do a post about hair, and helping it to grow. I am going to admit it now, when it comes to hair, I'm really bad at keeping mine healthy and protecting it against everything, blah blah blah... but i do know some really good and useful tips to boost its growth and maintain its healthiness:)

Diet

Its common that people might skip this step, as they think that its just an old wives tale that having a healthy balanced diet will help your hair growth, well I'm here to tell you this: its not.
Eating foods that are rich with omega 3, vitamin D and protein helps the hair become stronger, meaning it wont break whilst brushing, which means no split ends.

Vitamins

You can purchase vitamins from anywhere, where ever you live. I highly recommend 'Hair Skin and Nails' vitamins, because it's basically a gift sent from the angels. There are different types of tablets you can get, and they all come in different shapes and sizes if you're not that comfortable with swallowing tablets just yet:).

Back away from the brush!

If you can help it, don't use brushes. Use combs or 'shower combs' (this just means the bristles are further apart so you can comb in the shower), this way, you wont be ripping out your hair and causing damage and split ends.

Heat

Everyone should know that blow-dryers/hairdryers, straighteners, curlers, wavers, crimpers and anything else that's heated should stay well away from your hair unless you use a good heat protectant. I recommend the Boots Style Works Heat Protect Serum from Boots, which you can buy here, because its good quality, and cheap as well, so an all rounder:).

Hair Masks

Hair masks can be made at home or in a hairdressers, and can be used to bring strength and shine to your hair, making it feel healthy as well as being healthy. You can use hair masks whenever you want, as many times a week as you feel you need, and the use of ingredients such as lemon can make your hair smell citrusy and fresh.

Trim Your Hair

Its said that you should trim your hair every 6-8 weeks to keep it from split ends and damage, this can be done at home or at a hair dressers, just make sure its regularly!

PRODUCT REVIEW | Collection Lasting Perfection Conceler

Hello my lovely fellows! Today i was wondering what i should do for my first proper post, and it got me thinking... what beauty product do i love the most? And of course, as many of you will agree, it was this little life saver right here:

I really am sorry about the awful picture quality-that's a mobile camera for you.

It was just the other day that i switched from my 'Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer' to this little princess, to find that not only did this have so much more coverage, it lasted longer AND was way more pigmented. I picked this up from Boots for £3.79, which i thought was an absolute BARGAIN (Before i continue rambling on, i highly recommend any products from the Collection isle-cheap and good quality!).
Although i really did love my other concealers, i was starting to get bored of wasting money on buying yet another tube just a month after, and i needed something that would last a little bit longer and had a little bit more colour.
So here i was traipsing around Boots, refusing to leave until i found the perfect concealer that i would use and cherish for ever and ever, and i think after my 4th hour, i was starting to become a little threatening to the other people trying to shop. So i went down the Collection isle (It was the last isle, i worked my way up the shop) and it basically starred me in the face for around 10 minutes until i finally saw it. The one which everyone was raving about.
THE COLLECTION CONCEALER.

I decided to try it on in the shops, and to try and cover up a bruise on my hand ( they DO come in use for something), and i put 3 drops onto the bruise. I waited a couple of seconds, and rubbed it in. And immediately, the bruise had disappeared off my hand. So i quickly plonked it in my basket and hurried off before i got escorted out of the building.

When i got home, i decided to try it on my face to cover up my dark circles and a spot i had on my cheek that particular day. And honestly, it was the best concealer i'd ever brought. Not only does it cover up, but it also moisturizes as well, so basically, i payed £3.79 for a different face.
For you people desperately trying to find a new concealer, i highly recommend you pay your nearest Boots a visit, as its cheap, and works so well! Hope i helped someone out there,  thank youfor reading:)

P.S. after reading this through, i think its safe to say that i am the biggest rambler ever to be in existence.
