DIY Face Mask!

For many people, acne is a big problem that can affect peoples confidence and self esteem. Honey and Lemon can greatly help this problem; honey is a natural antibacterial and anti inflammatory that can absorb impurities, and the lemon brightens and exfoliates! So here is a quick guide on how to do this mask! (this is an extremely short method, this mask doesn't take long at all!)

1.      Squeeze half a lemon into a small bowl. (Take out any pips!)
2.      Add 2 tbsp of honey (natural honey works the best!)
3.      Mix with a spoon until it's like liquidy syrup.
4.      Tie hair back, and apply this mixture over a clean face avoiding the eye area.
5.      Leave on for 15-20 minutes.
This mask doesn't just have to be used for acne, but for any type of skin that you think could benefit from this! Hope i helped!

Having a spotty day?

Hello lovelies! Today i'm going to talk about something everyone in the world loathes with a passion, and that is SPOTS. I'm actually really lucky as i don't get spots that often and i have quite clear skin, but growing up, spots invade everyone's face at one point. So i thought i may help some people out by doing some research on how to stop the spots before they take charge!

Do-

Cleanse properly morning and night
use products that contain acid (salicylic, lactic, glycolic)
Eat well, and stay clear of any white, starchy foods e.g. flour, sugar, bread, pasta.

Don't-

eat too much sugar (NO MILK CHOCOLATE)
use any products which claim to rip the blackheads from out of your skin.
wash with a dirty flannel / wash cloth.
Other tips are as follows:

Don't smoke. This doesn't just affect your body, but your skin too.
Don't drink any alcohol, as its loaded with sugar.
If you suddenly break out, and have no idea what to do, take a anti-histamine (only if you're taking no more medication). This tablet is meant to take the 'fireiness' out of your face, therefore calming the spots down.
Try drinking as much water as humanly possible.
Apply a face oil, ones with Aloe Vera are the best as they sooth the face as it works ( and the smell is bliss!)
Try not to touch your face. There are many reasons for this, one being if you touch your spots and don't wash your hands, the spot will spread to where ever your hand goes (not 100% sure if this is true or if its just an old wives tale, still, don't take any chances)
For acne, research some home-made recipes to try and sooth your skin (i shall be making my next post about these with some recipes so keep a look out!)
Don't use water from a bowl, make sure that the water you use is from a running tap and don't reuse. Otherwise, the dirt is just going back onto your face, so whats the point?

As simple as some of these may sound, i hope that i managed to help someone out there who is struggling with a bad breakout at the moment! And if you are, don't worry, it will pass :). I will be posting some home made remedies to help acne and more breakouts soon, so keep a look out! PRODUCT REVIEW | Collection Lasting Perfection Conceler

Hello my lovely fellows! Today i was wondering what i should do for my first proper post, and it got me thinking... what beauty product do i love the most? And of course, as many of you will agree, it was this little life saver right here:

I really am sorry about the awful picture quality-that's a mobile camera for you.

It was just the other day that i switched from my 'Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer' to this little princess, to find that not only did this have so much more coverage, it lasted longer AND was way more pigmented. I picked this up from Boots for £3.79, which i thought was an absolute BARGAIN (Before i continue rambling on, i highly recommend any products from the Collection isle-cheap and good quality!).
Although i really did love my other concealers, i was starting to get bored of wasting money on buying yet another tube just a month after, and i needed something that would last a little bit longer and had a little bit more colour.
So here i was traipsing around Boots, refusing to leave until i found the perfect concealer that i would use and cherish for ever and ever, and i think after my 4th hour, i was starting to become a little threatening to the other people trying to shop. So i went down the Collection isle (It was the last isle, i worked my way up the shop) and it basically starred me in the face for around 10 minutes until i finally saw it. The one which everyone was raving about.
THE COLLECTION CONCEALER.

I decided to try it on in the shops, and to try and cover up a bruise on my hand ( they DO come in use for something), and i put 3 drops onto the bruise. I waited a couple of seconds, and rubbed it in. And immediately, the bruise had disappeared off my hand. So i quickly plonked it in my basket and hurried off before i got escorted out of the building.

When i got home, i decided to try it on my face to cover up my dark circles and a spot i had on my cheek that particular day. And honestly, it was the best concealer i'd ever brought. Not only does it cover up, but it also moisturizes as well, so basically, i payed £3.79 for a different face.
For you people desperately trying to find a new concealer, i highly recommend you pay your nearest Boots a visit, as its cheap, and works so well! Hope i helped someone out there,  thank youfor reading:)

P.S. after reading this through, i think its safe to say that i am the biggest rambler ever to be in existence.
